Venue Runner ("we", "us") is based in Newcastle, NSW. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Guests ordering at a venue: the name you enter, your table or location, your order items and the time of the order. We do not ask for payment details, because payment is made at the venue.
- Venue staff: login details and activity on the staff dashboard.
- Website enquiries: the name, venue, email, phone number and message you send us.
- Technical data: basic device, browser and usage information needed to run and secure the service.
Website analytics
Our marketing website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the site. It may use cookies and collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device details. We do not send the details entered in the demo request form to Google Analytics. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
How we use it
We use this information to send orders to the venue's staff, run and improve the service, respond to enquiries, and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Order details are shared with the venue you are ordering from. We also use service providers for hosting and email, who handle data on our behalf. Your information may be disclosed where the law requires it.
Venues
Each venue is responsible for how its staff use order information, and for its own obligations under liquor licensing and Responsible Service of Alcohol laws.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept only as long as needed for reporting and then deleted or de-identified, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
